Pastor

Francis Warner

Francis Warner started at St. Augustine Evangelical Bible Church in 1973; at a young age, he was involved in the leadership. Currently, he is one of the two Pastors of the church.  

 

He coordinates the Worship ministry, is a lay preacher of the Church, heads the Church Camp Committee, and is involved in the Monday-Saturday lives of many. He has served in the Church as youth president, youth adviser, Sunday School superintendent, a Sunday School teacher of the Adults’ Class, and an Area Group leader. He led Christscape, a drama group, and captained the Church’s football and cricket teams.

 

He was an ISCF staff worker before going on to UWI where he was heavily involved in IVCF. He directed and spoke at many ISCF/IVCF and TEAM/AEBC camps. He was the leader of Charis, a popular gospel group of the 70’s-90.

 In 2016, Pastor Warner retired from teaching at his alma mater, Queens Royal College (QRC). He has been married to Carla for over 20 years; they live in St. Augustine.

Kelvin Mapp

Kelvin Mapp is one of the two Pastors of St. Augustine Evangelical Bible Church. For over thirty –nine (39) years he has been and continues to be a Lay Preacher and Sunday School teacher of the church's Young Adults Class. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Christ-Centered Counselling Centre (CCCC) with its mission of using biblical-oriented counselling to bring real hope and healing to its clientele. He specializes in the ministry of pre-marital counselling. 

 

Pastor Mapp is the author of “Before and After the Ring” and “Understanding Marriage – the true story” Book and Workbook, which

examine issues of marriage and courtship from a Biblical Standpoint Mr. Mapp is a founding member and Managing Director of VINMAR SERVICES LIMITED, a company established in 1997 to provide of Project Scheduling Services to clients in Trinidad and Tobago and beyond. He holds B.A. Degree (Honours) in Mathematics and Economics from The

University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus). 

 

He has been married to his wife, Marcelle for over thirty-five (35) years. Together they have three (3) daughters, Christal, Emerald & Jewelle.

Elder

Joe Caterson

Joe Caterson has been a member of the St. Augustine Evangelical Bible Church since 1977 and Secretary/Administrator of the Association of Evangelical Bible Churches (AEBC) since 2002. He assumed the AEBC post after retiring in 2002 from a long career in telecommunications. He worked with Cable & Wireless, TEXTEL and TSTT over a  period of 30 years and retired as a District Maintenance Manager.

 

Elder Caterson has also served at various times as Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer of Inter-School/Inter- Varsity Christian Fellowship of Trinidad and Tobago and represented the Caribbean Region as a member of the London based IFES Board over an 8 year period. As a Sunday School teacher, Preacher, and Bible-study leader he has practiced and taught expository preaching for the past 25 years. He is also a member of the Langham Preaching Seminar Committee in Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Elder Caterson is the husband of one wife (Violet), the father of one son (Timothy), and a grandfather of three (3).
